Yeah, I saw your review of Countess Below Stairs - I didn’t like it quite as much as you did, but it was an enjoyable book with a beautifuly descriptive setting.
I love Powells. They don’t really care about selling ARCs and there are enough publishing proffesionals in Portland that ARCs show up occasionally. If it wasn’t just coming out next week, I’d offer to send you my copy.
Oh…It’s coming out that soon? Oh no, and I’ve saved up all my money for only ONE book: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer. Looks like I’ll have to wait to get JYNX for awhile….though I don’t doubt it’ll be worth the wait. Meg Cabot is one of my favorite authors
I’ve heard that they have these places called “libraries” that give you books for free… of course I think I owe the local library at least $5 right now. And that’ll go up as long as I keep forgetting to return the books on my desk at home -__-
Ah, yes, the library…Mmmm…..Might have forgotten that one :-).
